MAURTEN ADDITIONS

A flavour addition for Maurten Drink Mix, developed to help reduce flavour fatigue during long training sessions and races.

During prolonged exercise, repeatedly consuming the same sports nutrition—even with a neutral taste—can become less appealing over time. This may make it more difficult to maintain a consistent carbohydrate intake. Maurten Additions allows athletes to vary the taste of Drink Mix 160, Drink Mix 320 and Drink Mix 320 Caf 100, adding greater variety during long or repeated sessions.

Additions is not a standalone source of energy. It is an optional flavour addition for prepared Maurten Drink Mix. It has been developed specifically for use with Maurten Hydrogel Technology and does not affect the function of the hydrogel.

First dissolve Drink Mix completely in 500 ml of water. Add half a sachet of Additions, shake well and then add more powder if required to reach your preferred flavour intensity. One sachet of Additions is designed for one sachet of Drink Mix, although the amount can be adjusted to personal preference.

Available in four flavours: Apple, Cola, Menthol and Orange. Each box contains six 2 g servings of the selected flavour. The product is vegan and Informed Sport certified.
