6d Sports Nutrition Ultra Drink

Isotonic drink for high carbohydrate intake

6d Sports Nutrition Ultra Drink is an isotonic sports drink designed for athletes aiming to maximise carbohydrate intake during exercise. It contains carbohydrates from maltodextrin and fructose in a 1:1 ratio and delivers either 45 g or 90 g of carbohydrates per serving, depending on your needs.

Ultra Drink is especially suited for long endurance efforts of 2.5 hours or more, where maintaining a high and consistent energy supply is key.

Flexible carbohydrate intake

Ultra Drink allows you to easily adapt your fueling strategy:

• 45 g carbohydrates (1 Ultra Unit)

• 90 g carbohydrates (2 Ultra Units)

This flexibility makes it easy to match your intake to the duration and intensity of your effort.

How the 1:1 carbohydrate matrix works

Ultra Drink combines maltodextrin and fructose in a 1:1 ratio, enabling more efficient carbohydrate absorption.

This supports:

• intake of 90–120 g of carbohydrates per hour

• steady and reliable energy supply

• reduced risk of gastrointestinal discomfort

With proper gut training, many athletes can comfortably reach higher carbohydrate intakes.

Built for high-intensity endurance strategies

The body can typically absorb around 60 g of glucose and at least 30 g of fructose per hour. By combining both sources, Ultra Drink helps push total intake closer to the upper limit of around 120 g per hour.

In practice, this can be achieved by combining:

• 2 Ultra Units (90 g carbohydrates)

• plus an additional 30 g from a 2:1 product (e.g. gel, chew, drink or bar)

This approach is increasingly used in modern endurance nutrition strategies.

Hydration support included

Alongside energy, Ultra Drink also supports hydration:

• 400 mg sodium per serving

• 5 electrolytes

• isotonic formulation for efficient fluid absorption

This helps maintain fluid balance during longer efforts.

Easy on the stomach

Despite its high carbohydrate content, Ultra Drink remains easy to tolerate:

• neutral pH to reduce stomach strain

• natural flavours

• suitable for vegans and vegetarians

This makes it a reliable choice even at higher intake levels.

Suggested use:

Mix 94 g of powder (= 3 scoops) with 500 ml of water. Drink 500-1000 ml of drink per hour during exercise.
